Several Students were stabbed at South East High School Friday.
Five people were injured in a stabbing attack at Southeast High School in South Gate, officials said.
Details of the attack were unclear, but the Los Angeles City Fire Department told KTLA-TV Channel 5 that crews were treating five patients and that one was in critical condition.
The TV station also quoted Los Angeles Unified School District Supt. John Deasy as saying a school dean suffered a non-life-threatening injury when the educator tried to stop the attack between two students.
Police and fire officials were on the scene at the school on 2720 Tweedy Boulevard.
Roger Noriega, a father of freshman and senior daughters at the school, said he first heard of the incident when his younger daughter texted him, telling him a stabbing of several people had occurred and that the school was locked down.
"She said, 'I saw three people stabbed,'" said Noriega, who was making his way to the school.

  2. This kind of news really break my heart, it's random and it's not like anyone was to blame. Yet they are still getting hurt, hopefully they come back all right.
